Offering Excellence in Music Education in Cambridge, Ontario
About me
I have been teaching students of all ages to play the flute for over twenty-five years, beginning with my private studio in Montreal, Canada. My work has taken me to over a dozen countries on five continents, including Peru, Paraguay, Australia, Argentina, England, Japan, Switzerland, Tanzania, and more. Currently based in Cambridge, Ontario (Main Street/East Galt), I perform regularly as a soloist and chamber musicians, with Stratford and Guelph Symphony Orchestras, and with Duo Calixa flute and guitar ensemble. I can be heard on Duo Calixa's recent first release, "Caminos", and on "A Young Flutist's Anthology" featuring renowned Canadian flutist Suzanne Shulman and pianist Valerie Tryon.

In addition to my private teaching and performance projects, I also offer pedagogy courses for flute teachers. The Suzuki approach is a philosophy of education, a methodology, and a structured sequence of repertoire that focuses on tone development and mastery through layered skill building. I have been a teacher trainer with the Suzuki Association of the Americas since 2006. For more about the Suzuki method please see the Suzuki Association of the Americas' web site.
